Privacy Policy
We collect the minimum we need to run Aurora, we never sell your data, and we delete generations and references on request.

What we collect
Account data — email address, display name, and (if you sign in via a third-party provider) the basic profile information they share.
Uploads — reference photos, audio, and videos you submit. Stored in our private object storage, accessible only to you and our backend.
Generations — prompts, model used, output URLs, credit cost, status. Used to display your gallery and support refunds / debugging.
Payments — handled by Paystack. We store the reference, amount, status and credits granted, never your full card number.
Product analytics — page views, button clicks, generation events, session id. Used to improve the product. We do not track you across third-party sites.
Why we collect it
To provide the service (generate images and videos, show your gallery, take payments).
To enforce safety and our acceptable-use policy.
To debug failures, monitor provider health, and prevent abuse.
To send transactional emails (receipts, security alerts). We do not send marketing without your explicit consent.
Who we share it with
AI providers — your prompts and reference URLs are sent to the AI model you select (Google Gemini, OpenAI, fal.ai, Replicate, etc.) only to fulfil that generation.
Payment processor — Paystack receives the data required to process payments.
Infrastructure — our hosting and database providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
We never sell your data. We never share it with advertisers.
Your rights
You can export your data, delete any generation, delete your account, or request human review of an automated decision. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA or similar laws.
Retention
Generations and uploads are kept until you delete them or delete your account. Backups roll off within 30 days.
Payment records are retained for 7 years for tax compliance.
Children
Aurora is not directed to children under 13. If we learn a child under 13 has signed up, we will delete the account.
